Phase Status

Due to the size and complexity of the UCSF enterprise, the project will be executed in phases. Sampling phases are prioritized on the presence of sensitive receptors (children, patients) and age of the building (older buildings first). The current schedule is as follows:

Footnotes:

  1. Sampling at Aldea housing complex has been suspended. Over 50% of Aldea locations have been sampled and nearly all results are below the Action Level. If your residence is not listed on the Results by Building list (link above) and you wish to have your water sampled for lead content, you may contact the water quality team at [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
  2. Representative samples at Mission Bay Medical Center were collected in Pilot C. With all results below the detection limit and the relative age of the buildings, specific lead sampling was suspended for Phase 5. Lead has been included as an analyte in the UCSF Medical Center Water Quality Program and will be sampled under the guidance of that program.
  3. For the purposes of this initiative, Laurel Heights is being treated as a campus-owned property.
