Radiation Safety Training

Training copy

EH&S provides radiation safety trainings to workers at the Campus and Medical Center on a regular basis. The trainings – classroom and online - meet regulatory requirements under Cal-OSHA and the California Department of Public Health. The trainings cover general and specific radiation health and safety.  EH&S trainings do not replace operational trainings by the employee supervisor relative specific hazards at the individual workplace.  EH&S radiation safety trainings are described below.

Note that EH&S provides assistance to supervisors, laboratory managers, and others who have responsibility for training employees in workplace hazards. For further information, contact your EHS Specialist or the EH&S Training Coordinator.
