Laboratory Hazard Assessment Tool (LHAT) & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Obtaining appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Laboratory Hazard Assessment Tool (LHAT) is a web-based system intended to identify and communicate hazards present in a lab or research area. To obtain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) staff must take PPE training. After the training is completed, a voucher will be provided that will provide instructions on where to pick up PPE. LHAT is to be used by all academic appointees, staff, students, and visitors to prevent workplace illnesses and injuries. Login to Laboratory Hazard Assessment Tool (LHAT) at https://ehs.ucop.edu/lhat
