First Receivers Training

Emergency Preparedness Training sized

OSHA requires hospitals to provide a minimum of 8 hours of training to staff who are expected to decontaminate victims or handle victims before they are thoroughly decontaminated. Clinicians and non-clinicians from both Medical Center and campus are eligible to take this training. By participating in this training, staff understand that in the event of a major emergency, they may be contacted to provide clinical or other support services, within the scope of their license, skills, and abilities, to UCSF Medical Center patients and/or to emergency recovery activities of UCSF.
